195 New Homes Completed

Adra’s Development Team is celebrating the completion of 195 new homes during the 2024-25 financial year, with more expected in the coming years.

The newly developed homes include a range of housing options, including social rent, intermediate rent, and market rent homes. This variety is designed to address the local demand for secure and safe housing, catering to different financial situations and needs within our communities.

The majority of the homes obtained an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) of A, with an off gas approach and have been constructed using modern methods of construction.

Recent completions include, Cae Gors, Tregarth, which includes 12 new homes, Cae Ffynnon, Pen y Ffridd, which includes 30 new homes, Plas Penrhos, with 39 apartments for over 55’s in Bangor, and Bro Infryn, Glasinfryn, with additional 7 units completed.

Huw Evans, Adra’s Head of Development, expressed his pride in delivering 195 new homes for local residents across north Wales over the past year.

“In addition to completing over 190 new homes, we also secured planning permission for several sites across the region, including 49 homes in Bodlewyddan, 16 homes in Llanwnda, 14 homes in Llanrwst, and 47 homes in Wrexham,” he stated.

“Our team is excited to meet the targets set in our new corporate plan, aiming to build 800 new social and affordable homes in north Wales by 2030. These homes will be adaptable to long-term needs, sustainable, and energy-efficient, addressing the needs of our communities.”
