Changes to the Board

Sasha Davies has been elected Chair of the Board for the next four years.

Sasha succeeds Hywel Eifion Jones, who has been Chairman of the Board since October 2021. Eifion’s term ended at the annual meeting at Tŷ Gwyrddfai last night (Wednesday, 24 September)

Sasha is a director of her own business / consultancy specialising in business and community development and stakeholder engagement. Sasha also served as Head of Commercial with Natural Resources Wales and previously Head of Strategic Development Wales with Horizon Nuclear Power.

Other roles she has undertaken are Strategic Director of Economy and Place with Conwy County Council and Programme Director for Anglesey’s Energy Island.

In the meantime, Dafydd Edwards has been elected vice-Chairman; Deiniol Evans as Chairman of the Customers and Assets Committee and Will Nixon as Chairman of the Audit and Assurance Committee.
