Join Adra’s Board: Help shape the future of housing in north Wales

Sasha Davies, Chair of the Board:

I joined Adra’s board back in June 2021 and have recently been elected as Chair of the Board. It is safe to say that the past four and half years have been extremely rewarding.

We’re an ambitious and forward-thinking housing association, with one clear goal: to provide high-quality social and affordable housing across north Wales. Our new Corporate Plan sets out bold targets to meet the growing need for homes in the region. We’re not just maintaining excellent services, we’re building new homes that strengthen communities and transform lives.

Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. Every decision we make reflects our commitment to people and places, and we’re passionate about delivering services that truly meet their needs.

We’re also preparing to meet the Welsh Housing Quality Standards 2 (WHQS2) and have set ambitious decarbonisation targets for our homes. This is a vital part of our promise to create sustainable homes for future generations.

Right now, we’re looking for an independent Non-Executive Director to join our Board. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in an organisation that plays a key role in shaping housing across north Wales. We’re particularly interested in candidates with experience in corporate governance, legal, compliance, or similar fields, your expertise will help us maintain strong governance and deliver on our ambitious plans.

We’re committed to building a diverse Board and would especially welcome applications from women who want to bring their skills and perspectives to this important role.

If you’re ready for a rewarding challenge and want to make a real difference in an essential sector, we’d love to hear from you.
