Marking the end of the first year of our Corporate Plan
As a reminder, we have adopted four key priorities: improve our homes, make a positive difference, create more homes and foster a ‘one team’ culture – they all fall nicely into three main themes – Cartrefi (Homes), Cwsmeriaid (Customers) and Cwmni (Company).
Three Corporate Programme Boards have been set up to lead on the work – Daniel Parry, Director of Property and Development is leading the Cartrefi Board; Sarah Schofield, Director of Customers and Communities on the Cwsmeriaid Board; and Rhys Parry, Director of Resources and Delyth Williams, Director of Communications and People are jointly leading the Cwmni Board.
They all have specific work plans and this work is being monitored and challenged by our Board, to make sure we provide the best services possible to our communities and tenants.
Over the past 12 months we have also lobbied Welsh Government and the political parties, to make sure they fully understand the needs of the housing sector and our communities – in particular as they have been preparing their manifestos for the Senedd elections on May 7th.
Looking ahead to the second year of the Corporate Plan and there will be a new wave of projects (and continuation of some of the year one projects).
We will be working with the new Welsh Government to further increase our profile and level of influence and there will be more joint working with other North Wales housing associations. This will help us with delivering services to our tenants across the region.
Keep an eye out for a series of articles providing updates on projects linked to our priorities.
