New member joins our Board
Sion Llewelyn has been appointed as the latest Member on our Board.
Sion is a former pupil of Ysgol Tryfan in Bangor, and a Law graduate. He has a wide range of experience in customer service, and the tourism and activities industries. Previous roles include owning and managing busy backpackers hostel in Cardiff, and working at management level in some well-known tourist sites in Eryri and Gwynedd.
He is committed to Adra’s purpose and the meaningful impact that social housing has on people’s lives and the community. Furthermore, he is a proud advocate for the Welsh Language and equality.
Sion’s interests include mountaineering and coastal walking, Welsh history and nature, as well as watching Wales play rugby.
Sasha Davies, Chair of the Board, said: “We’re delighted that Sion is joining the Board – his passion and determination to make a difference to the lives of people and communities across North Wales is clear. He brings meaningful skills and experience, and will help strengthen the focus on our customers and communities at Board level. We look forward to working with him.”
Sion said: “I am really looking forward to fulfilling this role. I hope to provide a challenging, objective, and constructive input to the direction of Adra in its support to improving the lives, environment and opportunities of our communities”.
