Partnership working in full force in Penygwndwn

A number of organisations joined forces with tenants as part of a recent environmental day over at Penygwndwn in Blaenau Ffestiniog  – the latest event we’ve arranged this year.

As  number of our different departments had worked together  to create a day to help our tenants, with members of the Cymunedol, Bro, Rent and Customer Service teams over there on the day to lend a hand.

They were once again joined by members of Cyngor Gwynedd, Ardal Ni, Police, North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and members of Y Dref Werdd to fill vans and move the skips. Aled Jenkins from Warm Wales was there on the day also supporting by giving advice to our tenants.

By the end of the afternoon, not only were the three skips full, but the council’s vans needed to make 17 trips to the recycling centre, undoubtedly the most yet on one of these environmental days!
