Adra Environmental Day in Talysarn

An Environmental Day was held within communities and estates of Adra houses in Talysarn this week.

This gave our customers the opportunity to bring their waste to skips that Adra had placed in a specific location as well as collecting waste around the estates and communities.

The intention was to promote recycling and install pride in the communities customers live in and reduce fly tipping.

We are extremely proud to collaborate with the Gwynedd Council recycling team who were present and Keep Wales Tidy who gave advice to our customers about saving money and unnecessary household goods.

Sion Eifion Jones, Adra Community Projects Officer, said:

“Thank you very much to all our partners for making this event work, and thank you to all our customers who came to participate. It’s so nice to see community pride and everyone coming together to look after our communities and ensure we’re environmentally friendly.”

We got four skips filled and required seven trips to the recycling center with the Council’s vans.
