Our new graduate scheme creates new professional jobs in north Wales

We have launched our brand-new graduate scheme and we’re eager to recruit local, highly skilled professionals fresh from university.

We are a commercial company with a social heart and wants to provide opportunities to enthusiastic local individuals who wish to start their professional careers after studying.

Mair Williams, our Human Resources and Organisational Development Manager said:

“We are delighted to launch our new graduate scheme and to be able to offer three new opportunities for people who want to be developed and mentored for two years in a graduate role with the aim of progressing into a full-time role within a department based on successful performance and training.

“We are excited for the prospect of giving fresh opportunities to local and dedicated individuals.”

Kirstie Eckford is a Development Surveyor here at Adra and works within the development team to build new affordable homes to meet the local housing need in north Wales. She said:

“Adra gave me the opportunity to work and study a Quantity Surveying degree at the same time.

“I have now completed my degree at Liverpool John Moore’s University and graduated with First Class Honours.

“I really have benefited from the opportunity Adra gave me and I think it’s fantastic that Adra has now launched a new graduate scheme. I would definitely encourage graduates with a strong interest in the positions available and a passion for housing to go for it and apply. Opportunities like this don’t come around often.”

The positions we are offering as part of the graduate scheme are a Graduate Digital Creative Content Creator to work within the Communications team at Adra, a Graduate Development Surveyor to work within the Development team at Adra, and a Graduate Asset Compliance Officer to work within the Assets team.

This is part of Academi Adra, a project we launched in February 2021. Academi Adra focuses on enhancing skills and employability options for local people in north Wales through apprenticeships, work placements, graduate placements and trainee schemes. This specific scheme is for graduates.
