    Academi Adra will be running a training programme for Adra Tenants, with a specific focus on becoming a Board Member.

    It’s interesting, builds skills, and could help you join a Board or volunteer group to make a difference in communities

    • Have the time to give something back to the community?

    The programme

    • The programme is likely to be held at our office, across 3 days between July – August.
    • There will be an opportunity to apply to become an Adra Board Member at the end of the programme.

    The course will start on Monday, 10/06/24 for two weeks at Tŷ Coch, Parc Menai, Bangor.

    How does it work?

    Step 1 – Register for our Customer Service and Admin Skills Course, where you will receive a week of training delivered by Grŵp Llandrillo Menai, which will focus on the skills required in the workplace. The course will start on Monday, 10/06/24 at Tŷ Coch, Parc Menai, Bangor.

    Step 2 – You will have the opportunity to gain unpaid administration work experience for a week with us at Adra or with one of our partners.

    Step 3 – Everyone that completes the two weeks will have the opportunity to apply for a paid work placement. If you’re invited for an interview, and you’re successful, you will be placed with Adra or with one of our partner organisations for your 16-week paid placement.

  • July Construction Course

    Are you over 16 years of age and looking to gain experience within the construction industry?

    Academi Adra’s popular Construction course is back, where you can gain experience and training.

    • Location – Tŷ Gwyrddfai, Penygroes, LL54 6DB

    The course includes a week of work experience and all the personal equipment required to work on-site – all for free!

    The course will start on Monday 08/07/24 for two weeks at Tŷ Gwyrddfai, Penygroes, LL54 6DB.
