JD – Supported Housing Assistant

We are pleased to announce a date for our next Construction programmes, delivered in partnership with Premier Construction Training, Anglesey Safety Training, and Gwaith Gwynedd.

The September programme will begin on Monday, 7 September 2026, at Tŷ Gwyrddfai, Penygroes and it will include a week of construction industry training, one week of unpaid work experience, and there will also be an opportunity at the end to apply for a 16-week paid work placement with our partner organisations.

This programme will be suitable for individuals who live in Arfon and Anglesey.

Our November programme will follow the same process as the September programme and will start on Monday, 2 November 2026. This programme will be suitable for individuals that live in Dwyfor and Pen Llŷn.

The Application Process

• Applications will be processed in the order they are received
• We will try to phone everyone who shows an interest three times from the number 0300 123 8084
• If there is no answer, we will send a text message and an email asking them to call us back
• If we do not receive a response, we will move on to the next person on the list
• There are 12 places available on the course, and we will contact everyone who completes the form by phone to ensure they are eligible and that the course is suitable for them
• If they are eligible, we will invite them to attend a face-to-face meeting at one of our offices before confirming if that they have a place on the programme
• Once we have confirmed that they have a place on the programme, we will invite them to Tŷ Gwyrddfai for the induction session (dates TBC)
