  • Customer Service and Administration Skills

    Are you over 16 years of age and looking to gain administration and/or customer service experience and increase your skills within an office environment? Academi Adra have excellent paid opportunities available, where you can earn whilst you learn!

    • Wage – National Minimum Wage
    • Hours – 24 hours a week for 16 weeks
    • Location – North Wales

    How does it work?

    Step 1 – Register for our Customer Service and Administration Skills Course, where you will receive a week of training delivered by Grŵp Llandrillo Menai, which will focus on the skills required in the workplace. The course will start on Monday,  12/08/24 at Tŷ Coch, Parc Menai, Bangor.

    Step 2 – You will have the opportunity to gain unpaid administration work experience for a week with us at Adra or with one of our partners.

    Step 3 – Everyone that completes the two weeks will have the opportunity to apply for a paid work placement. If you’re invited for an interview, and you’re successful, you will be placed with Adra or with one of our partner organisations for your 16-week paid placement.

Opportunities with our Board

Board Member, Adra

Location: Tŷ Coch, Parc Menai, Bangor, Gwynedd 

Pay level: £4,250 per annum 

Time commitment – around two days a month

We are looking to hire a Non-Executive Director for our Board.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge and experience in customer service and engagement.

We are especially interested in those who have worked in public or government roles. Additionally, understanding the social housing sector and its policies would be a plus.

The successful candidate must have an appreciation of the area we serve, and an empathy with our communities, culture, and the Welsh language.
