Adra out and about in recruitment fairs
Teams from Adra, North Wales’ largest housing association will be out and about the North Wales region over the coming months as part of ongoing efforts to recruit people into the housing and construction industry.
The team will be attending several recruitment fairs to spread the word about career opportunities within Adra, as well as training and volunteering opportunities available through the Academi Adra initiative. The initiative was set up in 2021 to provide opportunities for Adra people to gain valuable work experience and increase their skills.

- Conwy Careers Fair, Parc Eirias, Colwyn Bay – Thursday, 23 March (11am -4pm)
- Storiel, Ffordd Gwynedd, Bangor – Thursday, 23 March 1pm-4.30pm
- Porthmadog Community Centre – 19 April (1pm-5pm)
- Bro Dysynni Leisure Centre, Tywyn – 26 April (1pm-5pm)
- Barmouth Leisure Centre – 4 May (1pm-5pm)
Mair Williams, Adra’s HR Manager, said: “We’re always on the look out for people interested in a career in the housing and construction sectors. A significant proportion of our staff work in Trwsio, our in-house contractors but we also have people working in all kinds of professions, including IT, customer services, community development and legal.
“We also want to take the opportunity to promote Academi Adra. We have examples of people being trained through the programme and then gained employment, so we want to help spread the word about the Academi to people living across North Wales as we continue to grow as an organisation”.
