As a Registered Social Landlord, we are regulated by the Welsh Government Regulatory Team.
The Welsh Government has issued guidance that sets out the objectives that each Housing Association is expected to provide, which relates to housing services, governance and financial management. They state that they expect us to deliver in 9 key areas in order be effective as a social landlord.
Every year, as part of the Regulatory process, we conduct a self-evaluation of our activities to show how we meet the relevant guidelines. This self-evaluation is then shared with the Welsh Government’s Housing Regulation Team, who challenges the content and looks back over the year on our achievements. The final part of this process sees the publication of the Welsh Government Regulatory Judgment report for Adra.
We are pleased to report that for the 2021/22 financial year, our Regulatory Judgement has been confirmed as “Compliant” for both Governance and Tenant Services, and Financial Viability.
Assessment: October 2022
Governance and Tenant Services – Compliant
Financial Viability – Compliant
